You'll be able to pick up a 9800 pro (128MB) for around £40 on eBay if you're patient! It'll still be quite a lot better than that 6200 even though it has less memory.

But if you're looking to run bf2 at anything above 'low' (and maybe the odd 'medium') graphics settings, you could do with a better card still, depending on how good the rest of your PC is.

Thats in Recons dinosaur perhaps but in my old decent machine I got it on straight mediums.

My 9800Pro is available for £50. Comes boxed etc.

Another piec of advice don't touch midrange always go for the top models like 9800 x800 x850 x1800 x1900 etc. Mid range cards will just dissapoint. You are usually better going for the older top model rather than the current mid range model. I am quite knowledgeable on hardware so talk to me more on MSN if you want.

The 6200 was not even midrange it was budget and I doubt it will be better than your Fx5200 which was at least a gaming card in its day. I am not surprised your FX5200 beats your onboard either. Onboard graphics are only designed for office applications some even struggle to play videos.
