Title: New To bf2

Vartec - January 8, 2007 11:30 PM (GMT)
I have just got Bf2 for the pc after playing it for 5 months on ps2 and i was wondering if i would be able to join the clan once i have ranked up etc... and until then would it be ok if i could stay on the forum.

I have no obligations if you would rather me not post etc untill i am a member.

Cheers

Hey, welcome to the forums.

You're very welcome to hang around the message boards until you rank up. When you do, give us your application - provided you're European and have at least 2500 points - and we'll go from there.

Feel free to add me Xfire and/or MSN, too. Playing in squads is always more fun and effective than playing alone, clan or not.

ive managed to get online to work now but my graphics card has managed to degrade itself... i did have a nvidia Geforce 7000 but on the info it says its only a nvidia geforce 5500 so im probably gona look for a cheapish graphic card that will suppord it

could be server lag or your PC doesnt like handling all the action on screen

could be a RAM issue

or as you say need to upgrade teh old gfx card

i got me a PCI-e NVIDIA 6600 gt 256 card for £20 ON EBAY

im sure you could find something equally as cheap to tide you over

Vartec, post your specs and connection speed. Other than that, basic fixes are to make sure you're on low ping servers, are not downloading or uploading anything and set your graphics down to low to see if that makes any difference.
