Yesterday I played on a server on Wake Island in patch 1.4 (I think). I think being american is the best. Your thoughts? :D

:o :o na ur wrong there mate 99% of the time the chines (if thats how its spelt) win and the J10 chinese jet is far better then the usmc jet and if u play usmc if the other team are good u will just get base raped or never get onto the island :lol: :P

The beauty of this map, as overplayed as it is, is that as USMC, you can take the Chinese air threat away. Once you've done that, if your team doesn't hold the airfield, you don't deserve to win.

Don't forget that when the US have taken airfield, they get an F18 - The F18, netcode wise, is just as hard to take down as the J10. It has excellent acceleration/deceleration timing that the J10 misses out on. On top of that, I'm pretty sure it retains the F35's ability to travel faster the higher it goes. When you put it next to the J10, all the J10 can do is turn faster.

Even if the Chinese manage to take airfield back, until they take down that shiny new F18 of yours, they only have one jet. ;D

Fantastically well-balanced map as long as the teams aren't stacked.
