Just bought Battlefield 2 and am VERY impressed!!!!
Definitely worth the money, the only game where I've actually felt like I'm fighting for a cause!!!

I played the demo - pretty good I thought. Dunno if I'll buy it though - I'll play the demo a bit more sometime.

BF2 looks good, dunno if it has any offline modes tho, coz its nice to practice a bit be for u go online.

BF2 does have 16 player offline mode with a mod to make it 32 player, the AI isn't brilliant but it isnt hopeless either!!!! :D

What a pain. IMHO that just lazy from the game makers. I don't think any game should be solely online becuase its quite fun to play against the computer. If the AI is not good I won't be buying it.

I thought the AI was better than in most games.

I played the demo for it, and thought the only bad thing about the A.I is they keep running each other over when the game starts (:S). Other than that, I thought it was a brilliant game (loading times were a bit long though)

I was gonna get BF2, but then changed my mind after playing on it. It would be so much better if they had anything other than "Conquest" (offline) and the tanks dint kill you when you are trying to repair them, simply by turning. The AI can also be dumb, but the vehicles and combat are very good. Shame about the 16 players offline. Ignoring the little niggles I think it is very good and worth buying if you play online a lot.

I've bought the game off ebay now -- hasn't arrived yet though. This game is amazing when you find a good server with people playing as a team (easier said than done). The offline mode is nothing compared to the online part! Great game! :thumbsup:

If STALKER is a complete failure, I could see pH7 becoming a BF2 clan! :P

Ive got BF2 now, far better than I thought, ignore that other post from me, its wrong. That information was from before the game was released. The full game is far better than the demo. Happy coz it runs smoothly on high graphics setting.

Does this mean STALKER has become a complete failure?

I don't think it deserves a chance anymore. :P

And tbh I think STALKER will be a great single-player game but I'm not sure that the multiplayer will be anything special. If it ever does come out, we'll decide whether it's worth setting up a division for. :)

I have to say that when i bought BF2 it looked like it was going to be more about sending troops in and not about the fightng, OMG how i was wrong this game is the best out by far and has made me think CS: S is a heep of rubbish! Although CS: S is still a good game to be fair. But this is much better!
