List any tips or tricks you use or have found.
Here's some tips for sniping:
Sniper:
Stay in zoomed mode
Keep holding the fire button down after taking a sniper shot, you will be able to see where the bullet lands and adjust.
Avoid skylining
Avoid skylining yourself on ridges. If you have sniper shots incoming the first place you look is towards any high ground and if you see a smooth green ridgeline against the blue sky and there is a supicious bump in the middle you are going to start shooting back.
Change Position
If you take a shot and its only a wound, not a headshot, the enemy can see your position indicated by a red bar, to be safe you should change your position if the next shot is too difficult. If you succeed in the second shot, its still reccomended that you relocate, as your victim my return behind you...

Another top tip when sniping is to use your claymores effectively. Plant them behind where you are going to snipe especially if there is an obvous route to your location e.g. a road or track. The enemy may not trigger them but they might.
Also try and keep as far from enemy as you can. You have a scope so use it to your advantage.
Try and use the landscape as cover but don't be too obvious. A large patch of long grass is safer than a small patch of trees for example. If some one looks at a mainly bare hill and there is just one copse of trees it is obvious that the sniper is likely to be there and random return fire could cause you damage. However if you take shelter in a big patch of long grass for example return fire will be less effective as the area is larger.
Headshots Headshots Headshots. Always aim for the head. Its difficult and takes time but it is worth it. It stops return fire and the person recieving fire is most likely to guess where you are.
Also do not fire if enemy are looking directly at you but have not spotted you if you do not get a headshot they will see your muzzle flash and return fire.
The pistol is effective at close range as long as you make sure you get headshots. Do not blast away move around and jump as much as possible to avoid fire and line up the shot carefully. Of course do not take long on this.

Also a tip that was half mentioned in the previous post about the claymores. These are effective, obviously. But if you are on a building then DO NOT put you claymore at the ladder at the bottom. An enemy will then know you are up there and jump from the ground over the claymore onto the ladder and most likely knife you (how embarrasing). So leave only one claymore right at the top of the ladder so when they get to the top or are looking over, they can see you but can't shoot while on the ladder, so they climb up for the kill and boom, when you notice the explosion simply put your remaining one there again, he will think that its gone and boom again two kills by a little explosive :D

ive also found having the sound quality set to medium or high instead of low is affective. You can hear enemies through grenades or even shout "clear" if they revive their comradesa round a corner. With the settings on low you won't hear nearby units shout out things

Yup that is a clever trick i used it on CS: S all the time waiting for them to reload! Use while sniping incase someone wants to knife me, the sound of the knife coming out is so obvious i don't get how people can miss it!

support:
spam those ammo bags
gives you points and means your team can be genorous with the sharing of hot lead
the pistol is sometimes needed for those up close fights as the COF is ridiculous when moving with a support weapon
provide cover fire while your mates flank them
fire in bursts so your weapon doesnt overheat
not only does this stop your weapon from firing it also affects the accuracy
drop as soon as you see anything suspicious
makes you less noticible
gives you an instant buff to aiming
you can take out an entire squad with a bit of luck
remember support FTW
:D
